Volunteer with CREW to help women in need on their road to economic empowerment, by providing 1-on-1 resume coaching: volunteers needed for an in-person event at Women Giving Back where you will help their clients create a personalized, polished resume to facilitate their job search.
Additional details…. There will be a brief (approx. 10 minutes) orientation for volunteers, to be scheduled a few days prior to the event (time and date TBD). At the event, there will be a brief presentation on resume writing and interview tips, then each volunteer will be paired with a Women Giving Back client 1-on-1 to review, update, and polish the client's resume (or advise on interview preparation if requested and time permits). The goal is for each client to receive constructive feedback and to finish the event with an updated, polished resume to help her find her next job.
Volunteer opportunities in the WGB store will be available to those not assigned a resume client.
