How Financing in the Current Economy Impacts Development Plans
Join us as our distinguished panelist focus on the uncertainties in the current financial environment and the way that non-traditional and creative financing solutions can bridge the gaps in the capital stack. The discussion will highlight the use of the following types of financing to fill the capital stack:
Mezzanine loans,
Preferred equity investments,
EB-5 loans (the immigrant investor program through which foreign investors invest a minimum of $800,000 in “job producing projects” to be eligible for certain set-aside visas),
C-PACE loans (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program for energy efficiency improvements),
Sale-leaseback transactions, and/or
Synthetic leases.
The panelist will provide real world examples of the financing challenges they have faced, how they solved those challenges, and how financing affected their development plans and timelines.
