1. Describe your current position.

I currently work as an Assistant Project Manager focused on interior finishes at John Moriarty &   Associates of Virginia. In my role, I manage all interior finishes for an 18-story senior living project, including resident units, restaurants, salons, and other amenity spaces. My responsibilities include overseeing the buyout process, coordinating design intent with architects and interior designers, managing subcontractor relationships and install, and handling the financial aspects of the interior scope. I enjoy turning complex design concepts into beautiful, functional spaces.

2. Describe your career history.

I have more than five years of experience in the construction and real estate development industry, all with John Moriarty & Associates of Virginia, where I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to several high-profile luxury mixed-use and senior living projects including The Burton, The 202, The Wren, and Pinnacle North Bethesda. My experience spans interior finishes, MEP coordination, MEP installation, and MEP start-up and life safety inspections. I first joined JMA as a summer intern while still in college and returned full-time after earning my degree in Civil Engineering and French from Bucknell University. Over time, I’ve grown from supporting project teams to leading key scopes of work that drive quality and efficiency on high-value developments.

3. What attracted you to CREW NoVA?

My introduction to CREW NOVA came through an invitation from the incredible fellow Bucknell alumni Jennifer Banks, whose passion for empowering women in real estate was truly inspiring. What struck me most was how warm, encouraging, and accomplished the women in the organization were. I’m excited to be part of a community that values mentorship, leadership, and shared growth. CREW’s commitment to connecting and advancing women in every facet of commercial real estate aligns perfectly with my own professional goals and personal values.

4. Name a woman that inspires you and why.

One woman who deeply inspires me is one of my mentors, Valerie Green. She embodies curiosity, courage, and balance constantly striving to learn more and push boundaries while staying grounded in what matters most including personal fulfillment. Valerie has taught me the importance of strong communication, thoughtful decision-making, and following through with integrity. Her example reminds me that success is not just about achieving goals but also about uplifting others along the way.

5. Tell us about yourself, your family, or a fun fact!

I was born and raised in Rwanda and moved to the United States about a decade ago to pursue my degree at Bucknell University. I come from a close-knit family that values education, resilience, and laughter. Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking, and discovering new restaurants around the DMV or around the world! I’m a proud foodie always on the lookout for my next favorite meal! When I’m not out exploring, you’ll find me spending quality time with my husband, friends!
